3 Easy Fall appetizer recipes
The holiday season has begin, so next time you host, try out these 3 easy fall appetizers that are each high in protein!

First up, let’s make a Baked Brie with Crunchy Maple Pecans!
Ingredients you’ll need:
- 8 – 16 oz. Brie Round
- ½ cup Pumpkin Butter
- 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
- 1/3 cup Pecans, chopped
- Pinch of Salt
- Fresh Thyme or Rosemary, for garnishing

Next up, we have this Greek Goddess Yogurt Dip that’s all the zesty, herby freshness you crave amidst all the sweets and pumpkin-based dishes this Fall!
Ingredients you’ll need:
- 1 large Yellow Onion, finely chopped or sliced
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/3 cup Sour Cream
- 1/3 cup Freshly Chopped Herbs, such as parsley, basil, and chives
- 1 Garlic Clove, grated
- 1 Lemon, zest and juice
- Salt & Black Pepper, to taste

Lastly, we have the ever trendy Whipped Feta with a Pumpkin Twist and more pecans… because why not!
Ingredients you’ll need:
- 8 oz block Feta
- ¼ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- ¾ cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
- 2 tbsp. Honey + more for garnishing
- 1 tsp. Fresh Thyme + more for garnishing
- Salt & Black Pepper, to taste
- Chopped Roasted Pecans, or candied pecans, for garnishing

Ingredients
For the Pumpkin Butter Baked Brie:
- 1 8-16 oz. Brie Round
- ½ cup Pumpkin Butter
- 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
- 1/3 cup Pecans chopped
- Pinch of Salt
- Fresh Thyme or Rosemary for garnishing
For the Pumpkin Whipped Feta
- 8 oz block Feta
- ¼ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- ¾ cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
- 2 tbsp. Honey + more for garnishing
- 1 tsp. Fresh Thyme + more for garnishing
- Salt & Black Pepper to taste
- Chopped Roasted Pecans or candied pecans, for garnishing
French Onion Greek Goddess Dip
- 1 large Yellow Onion finely chopped or sliced
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/3 cup Sour Cream
- 1/3 cup Freshly Chopped Herbs such as parsley, basil, and chives
- 1 Garlic Clove grated
- 1 Lemon zest and juice
- Salt & Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
For the Pumpkin Butter Baked Brie:
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- On a parchment paper line baking pan, toss together the chopped pecans, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Roast for 10-15 minutes, until bubbly and caramelized. Let cool to add to the brie later.
- Unwrap the brie and place in a shallow, small ovenproof dish.
- Add the pumpkin butter on top and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until fully melted. If needed, use a knife or spoon to swirl the pumpkin butter into the melted brie.
- Top with the caramelized pecans, fresh herbs, and enjoy with Milton’s GF Crispy Sea Salt Crackers!
For the Pumpkin Whipped Feta:
- In a blender, combine all ingredients to pulse until smooth.
- Add the whipped feta to a serving dish to top with the chopped pecans, more fresh thyme, and honey to enjoy with Milton’s GF Everything Crackers.
For the French Onion Greek Goddess Dip:
- In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the butter to melt.
- Add the thinly sliced onions to sauté for 5 minutes, then add ¼ cup water to stir until evaporated. Repeat this process of adding water and sauteing until evaporated until the onions are deeply caramelized, about 15-20 minutes. If needed, chop the caramelized onions into fine bits.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped caramelized onions, chopped herbs, sour cream, yogurt, grated garlic clove, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and more chives to enjoy with Milton’s GF Olive Oil & Salt Crackers!
