Be the Real You.

Living in an on-demand world, can get to be quite exhausting. You feel? Between having to follow what society thinks you should do, what family is telling you to do, and what you want to do. But, have you ever simply asked God what He wants you to do?

The best part of life is knowing that you have a purpose. You are not just another dime a dozen. God has uniquely designed you to play an IMPORTANT role in His creation. But, we must to be willing to give up everything we have, to receive everything God has to offer us.

Everyone struggles with their faith, it is just a part of our sinful nature. I remember, not long ago, asking God five little words: Don’t give up on me. I knew dip down that God wasn’t finished with me, but I was so lost on how to follow Him. I struggled for years, until I chose the most daring decision: I completely surrendered my life to God. No matter what you are going through, I promise that you are NOT alone and God will be with you along the journey.

I took this time to dive myself into God’s Word, and allowed Him to speak to me. I took everything out of my life that I knew God didn’t approve of. Instead of looking at what I didn’t have going for me, I looked at what God has blessed me with. Although, He may have closed many doors during this period, He opened up even better opportunities.

I had to come to terms, that if the world can hate the Almighty Creator who gives them their every breath, then sadly how much more will they hate you? But God doesn’t want you to shrink back into fear because of that. Oh no. He wants you to BE FEARLESS, BE BOLD, and BE STRONG.

God is the one person in your life that will never leave you, and will always accept you back. God will continue to guide you in your everyday life. God’s word is not lacking in power; therefore, when He speaks to you, He is speaking life into you. He is speaking identity into you, because you are a daughter of The Living King. He knows you by name, and knows your greatest desires. Jesus Christ took the penalty of all your past, present, and future sins on that cross. He took along all the guilt and shame that accompanies your sins, because of His GREAT LOVE for you.

It is as simple as bringing your trust and faith before your Heavenly Father. And trust me, you won’t regret a single moment of your life with Jesus Christ.

So… here is your challenge, ask God: “What can I do for you?”

Proverbs 31:30

“Charm is deceptive, beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised”

Hebrews 13:6

“So we can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?’”

Jeremiah 29:11

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
