“Drink your Retinol” Juice Shots
These “Drink your Retinol” Juice Shots have become a non-negotiable in my daily routine to encourage healthy, glowing skin!

Ingredients you’ll need:
- carrots
- lemons
- orange
- fresh ginger
- fresh turmeric
- (optional) black pepper
Health benefits of carrots:
Carrots play a huge role in these juice shots and in encouraging overall gut health, skin health, long lasting energy, and so much more.
- Vision Support: Carrots are an excellent source of vitamin A which is crucial for supporting healthy eyes, especially night vision. It also helps to fight against macular degeneration.
- Heart Health: Carrots contain a soluble fiber that helps lower cholesterol levels, and the potassium in carrots also helps regulate blood pressure. The antioxidants in carrots may help protect against cardiovascular diseases, as well.
- Digestive Health: The fiber in carrots helps to promote regular bowel movements and prevents constipations, but also supports a healthy gut microbiome.
- Immune System Support: Carrots contain vitamins B6 and C, which are important for a healthy immune system.

“Drink your Retinol” Juice Shots
Servings: 10 shots
Ingredients
- 10 large Carrots washed
- 4-5 Lemons peeled
- 2 Oranges peeled
- 4" Fresh Ginger
- 1-2" Fresh Turmeric
- Pinch of Black Pepper to activate the turmeric
Instructions
- If using a juicer, juice all the ingredients together.
- If using a high-speed blender, work in small batches to blend until very smooth. Strain using a cheese cloth or fine-mesh strainer. Mix all juicing batches together in a large container.
- Divide the juice into 8-10 individual juice shot glasses. Store in the fridge for up to 10 days.

After a few days in the fridge the shots kind of congealed and became thick. Is this normal? Is it really good 10 days in the fridge?
hi Emily! it does thicken up over time, but you could blend/strain it to help smooth it out again!
