Easy Blackened Salmon + Crispy Potato Wedges

A one-pan recipe that takes little effort. Satisfying, high in protein, and will fuel you with energy to conquer the rest of your day. Our Easy Blackened Salmon + Crispy Potato Wedges is becoming a go-to lunch in my household! Even working from home, the clock never seems to slow down – almost seems to go even faster some days! Therefore, one pan recipes that minimize the dishes at the end of the day can truly be a blessing.

What to serve with blackened salmon?

Great question! The salmon recipe itself is already packed with flavor; therefore, you can keep the remainder of the meal pretty simple.

First, I recommend pairing a fist-full size of slow digesting complex carbohydrates, such as brown rice, potatoes, grain pastas, whole wheat toast, risotto, sourdough toast, grits, or polenta. Included below is a recipe for crispy potato wedges (my go-to pairing side dish). Try tossing the vegetable of choice in some extra virgin olive oil and sea salt to roast at the same time you cook the salmon.

Second, I recommend two fist-full size portions of vegetables. I love roasting vegetables, such as asparagus, Brussel sprouts, carrots, peas, corn cobs, etc, and also pairing it will a fresh salad.

Now, it’s time to grab our aprons and begin baking deliciousness!
