Grandma’s Ranch Chex Mix

Grandma’s Ranch Chex Mix is a classic, crowd-pleasing homemade snack mix recipe made with crispy cereal, savory ranch seasoning, and nostalgic flavor in every bite. Perfect for holiday snacking, game day parties, and easy make-ahead treats, this old-fashioned Chex Mix recipe is simple, addictive, and always a hit.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • mini pretzels
  • oyster crackers
  • cheez-its
  • rice Chex crackers
  • olive oil
  • salted butter
  • ranch seasoning
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • grated parmesan
  • salt

How to store homemade Chex mix:

Room Temperature:
Store completely cooled Chex Mix in an airtight container or resealable bag for up to 2 weeks. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from heat and humidity.

Freezer:
For longer storage, freeze Chex Mix in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature—no reheating needed.

Tip:
Avoid refrigerating Chex Mix, as moisture can make it lose its crunch. If it softens, you can crisp it back up in a 250°F (120°C) oven for 10–15 minutes.
