Ingredients

  • Medjool Dates pitted
  • Alouette Double Crème Brie
  • Whole Walnuts
  • Thin Bacon Strips sliced in half
  • Maple Syrup
  • Fresh Thyme for garnishing

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375F. Line a large, rimmed baking pan with parchment paper.
  • If needed, create a slit in each medjool date to remove the stem and pit.
  • Stuff with a small slice of brie and walnut. Press in the date edges to help seal in the fillings.
  • Wrap with half a slice of bacon, then place seam-side down on the baking pan. If needed, you can use a toothpick to keep the bacon in place.
  • Brush the bacon with maple syrup.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the bacon is cooked through. Broil 30 seconds to 1 minute to help crispen it on top.
  • (Optional) Drizzle with more maple syrup (heated to help thicken it into a glaze) or hot honey.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme to serve warm!
