Steak & Shrimp Hibachi with Fried Rice
Soaking up the winter sunshine as we make Steak & Shrimp Hibachi with Fried Rice and a healthier Yum Yum Sauce at home !!

What is Hibachi?
Hibachi is a style of Japanese cooking that involves meat, seafoods and vegetables on a hot surface over charcoal. The quick, high heat grilling gives the food a smoky flavor and it involves minimal seasoning/sauces to highlight the natural flavors of each ingredient.
How to Make Hibachi?
The KEY to Hibachi is using griddle, whether it’s a griddle accessory to your grill or a large cast iron skillet. And you want your griddle or cast iron skillet(s) to heat up at around 450F for at least 20-30 minutes. This is going to ensure it cooks fast, especially the steak, without being overcooked.
