Vegan Salted Caramel Brownies

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 3/4 cup Plant-based Yogurt
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Plant-based Milk
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. Vegan Caramel Sauce, link for recipe above
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips (optional)


  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the yogurt, milk, vanilla extract, extra virgin olive oil, and 2 tbsp. vegan caramel sauce.
  • Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture. Fold together until evenly incorporated. If adding chocolate chips, fold them in now.
  • Pour the brownie batter into a 8×8" baking pan lined with parchment paper. Swirl the remaining 1/2 cup of vegan caramel sauce over the brownies.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes. Allow the brownies to cool for at least 10 minutes. (Optional: Drizzle with additional vegan caramel sauce)
