What if Jesus were to visit You TODAY?
What would you say?
Would you be proud of who you have become? Would you be so full of joy to tell Him of your testimony? OR Would you try to hide like Adam & Eve did, because they were ashamed?
Sometimes it’s just plain hard to face reality…the reality that we are not really where God wants us to be, or that we are not really following His Word, or that we are really just out to please our own flesh’s desires.
Now please understand me when I say that we will never be perfect. Hey, we were NOT called to be perfect! That’s why christians proclaim God to be FULL of mercy and grace… because He is constantly giving us a “second chance.” He is by far more patience and loving, than ANYONE we will ever know.
So, if you are stuck in a situation you do not desire, or in an environment that you deep down know is dragging you farther away from Christ… I beg of you to surrender before Christ. Our sin is natural, our faith is not. Therefore, our faith is a beautiful, working piece of art to take care of and strengthen daily.
Ask. Receive. Follow.
Ask for forgiveness, ask for another chance, and ask God what the next steps of your life should be. Then, have patience as God works in your life to open and close the doors to pave the way for you. “God will somehow use [our] waiting as a means to grow [our] faith so that [we] can see Jesus and want Jesus and crave Jesus.” Finally, be brave and take the leap of faith to follow through with God’s plans for you. Because I promise you, that you will never look back and regret this amazing decision.
We’ve all been there. We’ve all done that. But will you be of the few to turn away from your sins and surrender before the King of Kings?
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done.
Please let me know if I can ever pray for you.
