You ever feel that life is going by way too fast? That your stuck on so many side gigs, that you can’t focus on your main gig? Or you don’t even know what your main gig is, so you consume all your time in all these side gigs?
Then you start asking God for these miracles. And when He doesn’t answer on your timeline, you feel like He is letting you down or He is on vacation?
When I begin to just imagine the glory & magnificence of God, it is unimaginable that He would even want to spend a minute of His time on me. It became unfathomable to think that He has perfectly planned out the very details of each of our days on this earth. That’s what makes each moment in life even more amazing!
Psalm 138:8 says “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” Our God of greatness and goodness will ABSOLUTELY perfect HIS plan for us, but we must be ready to bear His cross. Therefore, when our hearts begin to become discouraged, we must be full of faith, anticipating an answer to our prayers from the Lord (Psalm 43:4). Even though it is extremely easy to surrender to the feelings of depression & discouragement, we must challenge them by bringing them before God in prayer. One of the greatest prayers is submission before God: “I need a leader, so please lead me, O God.”
Begin with understanding the vast greatness of God, and then put your faith to action by having patience & trusting in HIS timing. Just the simplicity of understanding God’s greatness & kindness will build our faith beyond imagination (Psalm 138:7). Sometimes it’s easy to give God the major worries of our lives, and then keep the minor details for ourselves. Like, what if God forgets about the aftermath if outcome A happens? Or what if God doesn’t think about problem x that goes along with outcome B? Well, I got good news for you… He already knows that without you telling Him. And guess what else? He knows details that you wouldn’t even think about in a million years! So, if you’re asking me, I’d say you’re in pretty good hands. I am not saying that it will be an easy journey, by a long shot, but you can be assured that you will be exactly where you are meant to be at every moment along the way.
You have a purpose in life, and it’s beyond your greatest imagination.
Matthew 6:27, 33 “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? … But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
