  • 1 ½ cups All Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp. Fine Sea Salt
  • 1 ½ tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. Ground All Spice
  • ¼ cup Granulated Cane Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Whole Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp. Melted Butter
  • 3 tbsp. Applesauce
  • 2 cups Honeycrisp Apples, finelydiced
  • 1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar + ¼ cupMilk, for the glaze

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, all spice, and sugar together.
  2. Create a well in the center to add the milk, eggs, vanilla, butter, and applesauce. Mix the wet ingredients, then fold into the dry ingredients.
  3. Add the diced apples and apple cider vinegar. Fold all ingredients together with a spatula just until combined.
  4. Line your Cosori Turboblaze AirFryer (code: LAUREN20) with parchment paper. Use a large cookie scooper to drop large dollops of batter onto the paper, working in small batches of 3-4fritters at a time.
  5. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  6. Bake at 425F for 7-8 minutes, until deeply golden, then flip to bake an additional 2-3 minutes on the bottom sides.
  7. To make the glaze, whisk the powdered sugar and milk together until smooth. Dip the tops of the cooked apple fritters in the glaze, then let rest on a wire rack until the glaze is set, about 1-2 minutes. Enjoy warm!
