How to Make Crispy Chicken Wings on the Grill:

Okay this is grilling trick like my little super power in the kitchen! And for all my ladies, this is the secret to impressing the men in your life 😉

  1. Pat the chicken wings VERY dry with a paper towel.
  2. Coat VERY well in flour and seasonings.
  3. Place on the grill on a medium high heat setting to dry cook for a few minutes, then flip. And THIS is where you'll begin brushing with olive oil, cook a few minutes, flip, brush the other side with olive oil, and repeat until super crispy.

This process mimics the traditional frying process on a stovetop, but on a grill!

What to Serve with Chicken Wings:

These chicken are great for more than just tailgates and football watch parties, they make a delicious hosting recipe or a fun family dinner!
Besides the classic dipping sauces, like ranch, you could pair these chicken wings with the following:

  • Veggie Tray with carrots, celery, and broccoli/cauliflower
  • Cornbread
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Cheddar Bay Biscuits
  • Coleslaw (preferably an Asian-inspired one with this recipe!)
  • Mac N Cheese

Can Chicken Wings be made in Advance?

While it's best to serve the same day they're grilled, you can make chicken wings in advance. I recommend not tossing them in the sauce, but making the sauce in advance, as well. Once the chicken wings have cooled down, store both the sauce and the wings in two separate airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Reheat the chicken wings on a parchment line baking pan at 400F for 6-8 minutes, until crispy again. Reheat the sauce in a pot over medium high heat until bubbly, about 3-4 minutes. Follow the last few steps by tossing the chicken wings in the sauce to enjoy!

  10. Pour the sauce over the chicken wings and toss until well-coated.
  11. Garnish with freshly chopped spring onions.
