Nature’s Candy: Layered Jellies (3 Ways)

Discover Nature’s Candy: Layered Jellies (3 Ways) — vibrant, layered gelatin jellies packed with ingredients that support glowy skin, immunity support, digestive health, and urinary tract (UT) wellness. These naturally sweet, nutrient-rich treats are an easy, delicious way to boost overall energy and whole-body health while satisfying your sweet tooth.

Why are my layers mixing together?

Your first layer wasn’t fully set.
Let each layer chill until firm to the touch (usually 20–40 minutes at room temperature) before gently pouring the next layer over the back of a spoon.

How long should I wait between layers?

Until the layer is set but slightly tacky — not rock hard.
If it’s too firm and cold, the layers may separate instead of sticking (!!)

Place in the freezer for 5-10 minutes, just until tacky.

Why are my layers separating?

This happens when:

  • The previous layer is too cold and fully hardened
  • The new layer is too hot

Let the new mixture cool to lukewarm, and lightly score the surface of the set layer with a fork to help adhesion.

I LOVE being creative with gelatin powder because it can be very beneficial for your health! I use Further Food gelatin because it doesn’t smell and is unflavored.

How is Gelatin good for the body?

  • Supports Skin Health & Elasticity
    • Beef gelatin contains collagen-derived amino acids like glycine and proline, which are key building blocks for:
    • Skin elasticity
    • Hydration
    • Reducing the appearance of fine lines
  • Joint & connective tissue support
    • Cartilage
    • Ligaments
    • Tendons
    • Some studies suggest collagen supplementation may reduce joint discomfort and improve mobility, especially in active individuals.
  • Gut & digestive support
    • Support the gut lining
    • Improve digestion
    • Bind to water, which can aid stool consistency
    • It’s often included in gut-healing protocols for its soothing properties.
