Ingredients

  • 3 Everything Bagels thinly sliced
  • 1 container Alouette Garlic & Herb Soft Spreadable Cheese
  • 3 oz. Smoked Salmon
  • 1/3 cup Capers
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped Red Onion
  • 2 tbsp. Fresh Dill
  • 1 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • Optional Microgreens

Instructions

  • A large, flat circular serving plate is recommended for this dish.
  • Using the back of a spoon, scoop up about 1 teaspoon Alouette Garlic & Herb Soft Spreadable cheese towards the top of the spoon. Place down firmly on the plate and gently scrape downward to create a flower petal-like shape. Repeat with one large circle, then repeat with 1-2 more smaller layers inside that larger circle.
  • Tear off a small piece of the thinly sliced smoked salmon to add into the center of each petal.
  • Fill the center of the platter with the capers and finely chopped red onions.
  • Drizzle with the extra virgin olive oil, then garnish with the lemon zest, fresh dill, and (optional) microgreens.
  • Using either the oven at 450F or toaster, toast the bagels until a cracker-like crunch. Serve warm with the lox-style platter!
